Kryptic’s Thoughts

On the right hand side of my desk sits a clear plastic desk caddy. It is designed to hold letters, pens and things you often need close at hand. In it, I have a blank notebook with pen attached, extra 3×5 cards (they make great bookmarks), my iPod, my Palm and one, and only one, book. A quick glance towards this book gives rise to inspiration, determined courage and endless wonder. It is 7.25 x 4.25 inches of pure enlightenment. I realize that I am an odd duck in this space and time, to many of you this comes as no surprise, but I can think of no more fitting tribute to end “Independence Day” with than to read the actual words of the declaration itself.
